When and where do we meet?
We meet Fridays at 6pm at 11a Meura Street, Matamata. Come earlier for a coffee and catch up
A normal night at Soul looks a bit like this:
3.00pm - KidSoul (Kids Church!)
5.15pm - KidSoul finishes.
6:00pm - Soul starts. Kids (School yrs 1-8) go to the movie room to chill out and our preschool room (Ages 3-5yrs & 2yr olds welcome with adult supervision) have heaps of fun!
7-7:30pm The main gathering finishes, but feel free to hang out for a chat and a coffee.
Who we are
We are a group of people who follow a guy called Jesus, and we are committed to building a community who find freedom, hope and unconditional love through Jesus. We're an ordinary bunch, who welcome people from all walks of life, regardless of where they are in their journey. We do life together as a family and there's always room for more so come and check it out.
What is Soul?
If you've got preconceived ideas of what 'church' should be then Soul may be a very different picture for you.
We are a group of ordinary people, who either believe in God or are keen to find out if they want to go there. Soul is a church (a group of people who meet together like a great big family).
We exist to love and help others to learn more about God and the difference He can make in living this journey we call life.
At Soul you can hang out, and drink coffee whilst listening to a relevant message and sing some tunes. You can expect that your family will grow and you'll have the support of a community doing it together. And of course there's also plenty of opportunity to learn about and get to know God - He's part of our family too!

Hey! We are D and Stace and we have the privilege of leading Soul, journeying this with a bunch of crazy and very cool people! We started Soul in our lounge over 16 years ago - simply with instructions from Jesus to create an environment where people can meet with God.
We make plenty of mistakes along the way but our family - us and our children Jack and Lara - along with our Soul Family - a beautiful and crazy mix are just journeying this life alongside each other, picking each other up, drawing closer to Jesus and finding out who he is and being as real and as authentic as possible.
