T O G E T H E R 

As people wanting to know Jesus, we are right to turn to the word to see how He lived and what He taught.  The gospels are filled with stories of His life and they don’t rush us into pulpits orplatforms of popularity or likes. They invite us into homes. Into meals. Into ordinary momentswhere bread is passed, eyes meet, stories unfold, and hearts are laid bare.

They invite us into life with others. They invite us into 'together'. 

Jesus didn’t just teach truth...He shared tables. At tables, He slowed down. At tables, He listened. At tables, He confronted without crushing. At tables, He forgave without hesitation and with an invitation to respond. At tables, He welcomed sinners, dignified outsiders, and even broke bread with those who would betray Him. Think about that. The Holy God of heaven chose proximity over performance. Presence over public announcements. Relationship over religion. 

Being 'together' was never just about occupying the same space. It was a doorway into the Kingdom.

A place where enemies became friends. Where strangers became family. Where the unloved wereseen. Where grace tasted like bread and mercy looked like eye contact. In a world that prefers distance: screens instead of faces, opinions instead of presence, outrage instead ofunderstanding, Jesus’ way feels both ancient and desperately needed.

He reminds us: You have never looked into the eyes of someone God does not love.

Choosing to live 'together' isn’t optional in the way of Jesus. It’s foundational. Because the gospelwas often preached with open hands and shared meals before it was ever spoken with words. So maybe the invitation today is simply to set a wider table, or to pull up a chair at one you haven't yet sat at.  Stay awhile. Love and listen more. Break bread. Be present. Because this is how Jesus lived, the example set especially for us...one table at a time, an open door and the growing - not just alone.

Therefore, if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,  2  then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.  3  Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves,  4  not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2:1-4
