Meet Chantelle McQueen

Chantelle has spent most of her life right here in Matamata — and although she’s of shorter stature, she was not a part of the Lord of the Rings! She attended Matamata Christian School from Years 1–8 and then went on to Bethlehem College for her high school years.

She met Tom while attending Soul Church in its early years, and the two were married in 2012. Since finishing school, you could find Chantelle using her gifts not only at Soul but also in business settings, board meetings — and even at Zumba!

From the very beginning at Soul, she has made a difference in quiet but powerful ways — from bringing home baking to bless others, to helping wherever needed in kids’ programs and the kitchen. Over the years, Chantelle has continued to pour her heart into the church, using her gifts in accounts and administration to help things run smoothly and offering wise advice where needed.

Chantelle brings intelligence, warmth, and genuine care to everything she does. Soul Church and the wider community are richer because of her — she naturally looks out for others, and it’s simply who she is.
